MEET THE REAL ANGELS When most of us are too preoccupied with ourselves, there are some real angels, some rare souls, who fend for others—homeless, hungry, abandoned, lonely, mentally retarded; for whom the world has shut its doors. In the third episode of Sleepwell Presents Zindagi with Richa—Season 5, it’s the story of Dev Goswami, an impoverished truck driver, who, while carrying his life with the round trips of his truck got switched over to serve the homeless whom he found along the highways—caring for them and providing them food. Most of them he finds in the subhuman state, ugly, destitute, and wretched. He would give them a makeover, bath, haircut, as well. He would give them human dignity. For the last 35 years, he along with his wife, Tara has been doing this service. Selflessly. Touching lives, like angels. In their life story, we find compassion, love, humanity, empathy and all that which we don’t see too often. In their life story, we find emotional wellness.
